Sucide of Car Accident Patients and Its Liability

Abstract

|
The number of car accidents is rising in spite of every efforts in our country. There are cases where suicides are committed due to sufferings during medical care in hospitals or after discharge from the hospitals.
Based on five cases of suicides of traffic accident victims in Korea and fifty-four cases of those in Japan, author reviewed and compared the trends of the judicial decisions between the two countries.
